Sherlock Holmes vampire thing

tirsdendreams(I found this written in one of my various notepads and barely remember the dream, hence the lack of details. The dream was kinda video-game-like.)
Watson was obsessed with a woman who then became a vampire and much changed at that. An aquatic vampire (hint at Cthulhu? I was reading a lot about this before the dream). Watson was going to find her, though the lady had gone away to try and leave him behind. Then Watson (who I am now in the dream) figured out it was best to let her go and this choice was available. Side effect or alternative was to realize another (human) lady loved him, and to shack up with her. Yay, everybody's happy.
