"You're not afraid of the dark, are you?"
I was myself, more or less, trapped on a planet with bioraptors (the monsters from Pitch Black) except I'm not sure I was supposed to know that. Some part of my brain did, though, but meanwhile myself, a few other random people, and Riddick were finding light sources in a weird small metal room that was partly above-ground and had a hatch on top, situated on the edge of a field beside a junkyard. We found these black rubber headbands that had several small bright-white lights along the tops of them. I also found two flashlights, one working and one broken. I remember thinking maybe I could learn something about what broke the light, but then I decided there wasn't enough time and it wasn't important enough. We knew that whatever dangerous thing had already killed some people didn't like light (I can't remember earlier in the dream, but I do remember that we knew something icky was out there). Unfortunately, the sun had gone down and it was getting to the point where leftover sunset wasn't going to save us.
This part is hazy, but I think someone was running through the junkyard and either said the creatures were coming or got wasted. Either way, the next thing that happens is we're all running across the field, away from the junkyard / hatch-room. I see Riddick's point of view for a moment as he passes me fast, then I'm back to myself and I'm having trouble running. (I'm out of shape in real-life which was affecting the dream, and also was having that nightmarish having-trouble-running issue.) I think I called out for Riddick as I kept struggling onwards, and I didn't actually expect him to do anything besides keep running. Everyone else was doing the same, and I think I was the most behind.
He came back for me (♥), picked me up fast and carried me (I had my arms around his neck and legs around his waist, facing him). He made much better progress than I had even with him carrying my weight (which, ironically, seemed to be a bit less at this point). We made it to an area that was considered safer at the edge of the field (can't remember why, but the other people were rendezvousing there).
Then I woke up.
