Inadvertantly married to the mob

I dreamed I was beside a broad, deep river. There was a road nearby and a big black expensive-looking car drove up. Three men got out of the car, a rich looking guy and two bodyguard flunkies. They took something out of the trunk and threw it in the water... it was most definitely a body bag. And the rich guy said something like, "That'll teach you to cheat on me, b*tch."

Then a police car showed up and two officers got out. They were accusing the rich guy of murdering his wife and were going to arrest him and probably search the area. I walked up and said, "Huh? I'm his wife, and I'm not dead." The cops looked at me and apparently nobody knew what this wife person looked like, so they were like, "Oh, okay, sorry to trouble you," and drove off.

The rich guy who I had by this time figured out was in the mob looked at me and said, "So, my wife eh?" Now that I'd said that in front of the police I'd have to keep playing the game indefinitely. Apparently he didn't care and needed someone to fill the wife position anyways so the whole murder thing wouldn't come back. He started asking me something... was I really up for this or something... and I was like, "Sure," because I knew he'd take care of me as long as I was a good girl and didn't go messing around like his wife apparently had.

Then I woke up.
