tirsdendreams: (old black magik)
(I've had these notes on a dream from back on February 19th that I keep forgetting to copy here, and since I've located them again, here we go! I'll just copy verbatim what they say being as I've forgotten a lot of this anyways. Anything I want to say on it now will be in brackets.)

talk to guy at airport
"have you checked on ______?"
jump onto train in popcorn [the tops of the cargo sections were all open, and were filled with unpopped popcorn kernels]
other people
go past farm, see giant scorpion? no, lobster
rock lobster lol [I'd had a real-life reference to that song the previous day]
get off train, I'm a princess
2 warriors, 1 archer [rest of party]
then secret tunnel right out of barn [we went into the barn after the train bit]
lobster is now a giant ogre in drag? then gone [I remember being afraid of this thing because it was throwing around large objects and had the potential to smish us all pretty darn fast if it saw us, but then it suddenly wasn't there anymore]
evil wizard lord walks around veggie garden we are hiding in
he spots me and says he should take a hostage for fun
I realize he picks me and run
he stops time on the others
I get enuff distance to "un-freeze-time" [that was literally the spellcasting words]
others still sluggish
he turns me into a tree and I fall, break arm
he turns me back human and I can't move because of arm
he forms a sled-ish magical vehicle under me and steers it off w/ me
others later at campfire, the 2 warriors are arguing
dark-haired one saying I was talking about marrying the other one as if it were a done deal (he overheard I'd had a vision?) and only because the light-haired one was a prince
prince claimed to have no idea what the other one was talking about

[Then I woke up.]

tirsdendreams: (redefinition of me)
(This is from back in July on the Chicago trip where I had the alien dream, and I forgot to post it. Oops. Here goes.)

I was a princess, maybe with magic, in a group with others. I was closest to the knight and we were all trying to get out of a castle full of traps. The next thing I remember was that the knight had managed to take a magic sword that had some sort of ice-related power from a dragon's hoard in the middle of this castle. (The sword's hilt and lower end of the blade had some sort of magical inlay, you could see an icy power moving about in there.) The castle was mostly a big huge roundish tower shape that was partly in ruins. My own home castle was just down the road from this place.

The dragon had been away but we could hear it coming back. The knight wanted to get back to the castle fast so that the dragon wouldn't see the stolen sword. Also, the knight didn't have his horse or armor. I realized that the sword had been placed prominently and that the dragon would know right away that it had been taken. It would tear our castle and the countryside apart looking for the thing. So I grabbed the sword and made the knight stand in the middle of the road with me. He was shaking like a leaf. I had my arm around his waist to keep him from falling over. Some knight.

Anyways, I held the sword high in front of us, blade pointing to the sky. The dragon thundered into view and stopped in front of us. It was obviously pissed that we'd taken the sword. But it stooped it's head down to my level and I spoke to it in the dragon language, asking forgiveness for such a terrible transgression. The sounds I had to make were hard on my voice and not meant for humans, but the dragon understood. He wanted to know why we'd taken the sword.

I tried several reasons, from the knight wanting it to the fact that he'd won it in combat (I think a bad guy, maybe even the evil owner of the trap-filled castle, had actually taken the sword in the dragon horde first and the knight had defeated him there). But the dragon wasn't impressed. It was hard to breath and speak the dragon language with the dragon's mouth and nose in my face. Noxious fumes, let me tell you.

Then I realized I should tell the dragon about the quest the knight was going on. It was something so insanely difficult, so futile, that it was pretty much inconceivable anyone would even think of trying. Yet it seems like he had to do it and I believed we had a chance if we took this particular sword. (The quest had something to do with the frozen northlands and probably killing something super powerful but that's all I remember.) Maybe the dragon would let us borrow the sword for the quest. I believed we had to have it to succeed at all and that we would if we had it.

But I didn't get the chance to finish asking (I remember the dragon looking thoroughly shocked and pulling his head back and high up into the air, looking at me like "omgwftyoumustbekidding" as I told him the quest part) because...

Then I woke up.
tirsdendreams: (redefinition of me)
(I found this written in one of my various notepads and barely remember the dream, hence the lack of details. The dream was slightly video-game-like and very medieval. I'm gonna guess that I'd been playing Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption around the time of this dream.)

Human and royal families under attack from bad vampires? I remember the end though, I was cousin(?) to the crown prince or I was at least high nobility. His sister the princess was in love with my brother (no relation to any real-life family in any of this). The main bulk of the romance part of the story seemed to revolve around the princess and my brother. Then we heard he was attacked by Nospheratu (the vampire clan from Vampire: The Masquerade) or something, killed? Yes, we thought he was dead (we were at the royal palace).

The humans and good vampires prevailed in the end but it was still assumed that my brother was lost. We went to a celebration (still at the same palace but outdoors now) and the princess was surprised by news whispered in her ear that my brother was still alive and had been turned into a vampire and wanted to see her in the vault (secret basement). Of course she went to see him, and I'd overheard the whispered conversation so I wanted to go too but I realized I should give them a moment alone. I went down in a few minutes and I remember him being ugly like the Nospheratu and he was ashamed but the princess didn't care.

I'm not sure what happened next, but at some point I'd left and returned via carriage to my own place which was a nice big mansion. But it's like I'd packed to leave again for the palace (perhaps it had been a little while?). The coronation was coming up, so yeah, maybe I'd gone home in between. As the servants were packing the trunks onto the carriage(s?) there was a special delivery with a note marked "wear this" or something like that, and inside the package/box was an absolutely stunning dress (the big hoop-skirt kind). It was pretty much more than I'd ever expect to wear even though I was rich. It's the sort of thing a queen would wear.

Then I realized what must be going on. The prince was going to propose to me! I don't remember ever being romantic with him but we'd always been good friends and trusted each other. That must be what he was looking for in a wife (and beat heck outa some random elligable woman of high rank). Still, this came as a great surprise to me. I think I fainted.

I barely remember the end as I was waking from the dream at this point. I do remember wearing the dress as I entered the palace foyer, the prince coming forward and greeting me, taking my hand. He said something like "Ah, you outshine me as you are always meant to." I said something about not possibly being worthy of such a fine gift (the dress). Not a word had been spoken about my possible future, I'd leave that to him assuming it was his intention, as it still appeared to be.

Then I woke up.
